TitleObjectsURL Namesfiles-manager-objectsArticle BodyPrerequisites sFiles 1.63 or later is installed. You have access to the sFiles Manager Lightning App and its Objects tab (available via the sFiles Manager permission set). You are assigned sFiles admin permissions. Purpose The sFiles Manager Objects tab lets admins view and modify what Salesforce objects are configured to use sFiles. An object can have one or more Object Settings, which are a collection of settings that control the behavior of sFiles when a component, ClientApi method, or Flow Action is using that Object Settings. NOTE: Only orgs with sFiles Enterprise can have more than one Object Settings per object. The sFiles Enterprise components let admins configure which Object Settings record should be used for that component instance. Objects List View First navigating to the Objects tab reveals a list view of all Salesforce objects that have at least one Object Settings. The default view displays the name of the object, the number of Object Settings configured for that object, the number of different sites to which that object is connected, and the date/time an Object Settings for that object was most recently modified. Buttons for setting up an unconfigured object with sFiles and refreshing the list view are available in the upper right section of the page. The New button launches a setup wizard to help admins configure a new object, but creating a new Object Settings record for an existing object is done from the Object Settings Navigation. Object Settings Navigation After selecting an object from the initial list view, a page opens with a navigation pane to the left, and a record page to the right. The navigation pane lists all Object Settings for the given object. The new button at the top of the navigation pane launches a setup wizard like the one from the list view to help admins create another Object Settings record for the same object. Object Settings Record Page To the right of the Object Settings Navigation is a record page displaying the currently selected Object Settings record. An Object Settings record has five tabs: Connection: Details about where in SharePoint new record folders are created and what happens when a record is connected to SharePoint.Columns: Tools that control what SharePoint columns are visible via sFiles components, what columns are automatically set when items are uploaded, and what columns users can manually edit.UI Actions: Details and tools that control what actions users can perform via sFiles components.Item Visibility: Details that control what SharePoint items are visible via sFiles components.Other: Miscellaneous configuration details. Several action buttons are available in the record header: Generate Key: Creates a unique key that admins can use to force an sFiles component to use that Object Settings record.Reassign Object: Lets admins move an Object Settings record to a different Salesforce object.Delete: Deletes the current Object Settings record. Does not delete any related sFiles SharePoint Column records.Clone: Clones the current Object Settings record. Does not clone any related sFiles SharePoint Column records.
