Prerequisites

  1. sFiles version 1.56 or later installed.
    1. Visit sFiles on the AppExchange and click "Get it Now" to update to the latest version.

Steps to Setup

  1. Create a new text field on the related Salesforce object
    1. This field will be used to store the ID of the queueable related to the folder structure creation
  2. Add the Setup Large Folder Field field to the SharePoint Object Settings Custom metadata type page layout
    1. Navigate to Salesforce Setup > Custom Metadata Types >SharePoint Object Settings
    2. Click Edit under Page Layouts and add the field to the layout.
  3. Input the API name of your newly created text field into the "Setup Large Folder Field" field of your object's SharePoint object settings
    1. Identify the API name of the field you created in step 2.
    2. Navigate to Salesforce Setup > Custom Metadata Types >Click "Manage Records" next to SharePoint Object Settings
    3. Select your SharePoint Object Settings and populate the Setup Large Folder Field with the API name of your field.

sFiles will now display the status of your folder creation in a toast notification if it is still in progress or if it has failed. If the operation fails, you can find the ID of the failed queueable in the custom text field you created on the record.
