The 'Feature Permissions' field in the object settings contains permissions in a comma separated form. This field is typically configured by the Object Setup Wizard, but permissions can be added and removed manually (Go to Salesforce's Setup > Custom Metadata Types > 'Manage Records' in SharePoint Object Settings). Even if these options are enabled on an object, an instance of the sFiles can hide many of the buttons to prevent actions from being available to a user in the visibility options field at the instance level. NOTE: The permissions below only apply to the sFiles Enterprise Component and sFiles Standard Component. Feature PermissionDescriptionAutoSetupWhen this option is set and the SharePoint folder Id is not populated, a folder will be automatically created in SharePoint and linked to the record. If the Initial Folder Structure field contains a valid folder hierarchy, then the folder structure will be created as well.CreateFoldersShows the Create Folder button and allows folder creation on the object.CreatePublicLinkShows a context menu item that allows users to create a public shareable link for a file or folder. With sFiles Enterprise, this permission will also enable the Share files or folders via email feature.CopyItemsShows the Copy menu option for a file or folder and allows that item to be copied to another SharePoint location that the user has access to. See the article for more information: Copying/Moving Items to different SharePoint Locations in the UIOpenSharePoint & EditSharePoint These two features determine whether the Open in SharePoint button is shown and how users interact with files when clicking on a file name: If OpenSharePoint is enabled: The Open in SharePoint button will be displayed.Clicking the Open in SharePoint button on a folder will open that folder in SharePoint.Clicking a file name will open the file in Preview Mode in SharePoint. If EditSharePoint is enabled: The Open in SharePoint button will be displayed.Clicking the Open in SharePoint button on a folder will open that folder in SharePoint.Clicking a file name will open supported file types in Edit Mode in SharePoint. Supported file types include: csv, doc, docx, ods, odt, pdf, ppt, pptx, rtf, xls, xlsx, vsdx. All other file types will open in Preview Mode. If neither feature is enabled: The Open in SharePoint button will not be displayed.Clicking a file name will open a modal to download the file from Salesforce, not SharePoint. RenameFilesShows the Rename menu option for a file and allows file renaming on the object.RenameFoldersShows the Rename menu option for a folder and allows folder renaming on the object.SetupRecordShows the Set Up Folder button if a record does not have a SharePoint folder Id associated with it. Otherwise, users cannot manually create and link a folder.SetupSubfoldersShows the Create Subfolders button if the Initial Folder Structure field contains a valid folder hierarchy and the folder structure doesn't already exist within the folder.ShowRootCrumbShows the root folder of the object in the breadcrumb. For instance, if on an account record, the root breadcrumb would show the Accounts folder and allow a user to browse up to the Accounts folder.SiteSelectAllows Enterprise uses to set each record up with different sites, document libraries, or root folders.SyncOneDriveShows a Sync button that allows OneDrive users to sync that folder to their machine.UploadFilesAllows upload of files through either drag and drop into the sFiles window or by button. Prevents functionality otherwise. Note: Drag and Drop will be disabled no matter what if File Uploader Type is set to SharePoint.
