Use full sFiles features in Experience Cloud (Community)

With Summer ’21, sFiles brings full features to Experience Cloud. In order to use this feature, Experience Cloud users must have their own Microsoft 365 account and authenticate as their own user.

Prerequisites

sFiles is set up with Enterprise license
Named Credential with Per User authentication. Follow Step 1 of How to configure Experience Cloud (Community) to use Per-User authentication to set up your Azure Active Directory to work with Experience Cloud.

Steps

Get the SharePoint Object Settings Key

From Salesforce Setup, navigate to Apps | Packaging | Installed Packages, and click the Configure link next to the sFiles app.
In the wizard, click the Object Settings tab.
Under the Select Object Setting, find the Object setting you created, and click Generate Unique Id.
Copy the generated Object Settings key.

Add sFiles to Experience Builder page

Go to your Experience Cloud page in Experience Builder.
Navigate to a record page. (Must have record-context)
Find the sFiles Full Features lightning component, and add to your page layout.
In the App Builder setting for the component, paste the UniqueId that was copied into the SharePoint Object Settings Key field.
Now for each Experience Cloud user, an authentication link should appear, which will allow them to self-authenticate using their Microsoft 365 account.
