Prerequisites

1. You must have a version of sFiles 1.45 (Fall '23) or later set up and running in your organization.

NOTE: The entire database of sFiles labels can be found in the custom label library in your salesforce environment (Salesforce Setup > User Interface > Custom Labels). Keep in mind that some labels are used in multiple locations. If you cannot find a label, try searching the custom label library for the exact text value of the label.

UI - The Internal sFiles Component

See below for the label subcategories under the "UI" label category.

Key

A. Header - Any labels that appear in the header of the sFiles internal component. Keep in mind that the header labels can change depending on the operation being done in sFiles. For example, if you click the refresh icon at the top right of the app, you will notice a new label appear next to the search input.

• Example Label: UI_Header_OpenInSharePointBtn - the label for the "Open in SharePoint text in the screenshot below.

B. ListView - Any labels that appear within the body of the sFiles internal component. 

• Example Label: UI_ListView_EmptyFolder - this label will appear when a folder contains no items.

C. Status - Any labels that show the status of the sFiles internal app. Click the refresh button at the upper right and you will notice a status appear at the bottom right.

• Example Label: UI_Status_LoadingFilesFolders - this label will appear when the files and folders are being loaded from SharePoint.

D. Modal - Any labels that appear in any modal. For example, modals appear when a user attempts to create a new folder or move a file.

• Example Label: UI_Modal_Btn_Close - this label will appear at the bottom of the modal on the button that closes the modal.

E. Common - Labels that are used in various places and often represent generic terms or phrases.

• Example Label: UI_Common_Site - See the second screenshot for an example of where the common label "Site" is used.

 

UIE (Experience Cloud Components)

See below for the label subcategories under the "UIE" label category.

Key

A. Pill- Label which appears within the pill created when a file is uploaded.

• Example Label: UIE_Pill_Uploaded - label pictured in screenshot below.

B. Header - Any labels that appear in the header of the sFiles experience cloud components.

• Example Label: UIE_Header_Refresh_AltText - the alternative text for the refresh button in the top right corner. This label appears when you hover over the refresh button.

C. ListView - Any labels that appear within the body of the sFiles experience cloud component. 

• Example Label: UIE_ListView_ColumnHeaders_Name - this label will appear as the column header for the "Name" column.

D. Modal - Any labels that appear in any experience cloud modal. For example, modals appear when a user views a file.

• Example Label: UIE_Modal_Btn_Download - this label will appear at the bottom of the modal on the button that downloads the item selected.

E. Console (not pictured) - Any labels that appear in the web browser console.

• Example Label: UIE_Console_StartingUpload - this label will appear when an item is being uploaded to SharePoint.

 

Admin (Admin Panel)

The Admin Panel is found in Salesforce Setup > Installed Packages > click "configure" next to sFiles. See below for the label subcategories under the "Admin" label category.

Key

A. Header - Any labels that appear in the header of the sFiles admin panel.

• Example Label: Admin_Header_Documentation - the label for the button which allows a user to view sFiles documentation.

B. Wizards - Any labels on the page when the "sFiles Setup Wizard" navigation item is selected.

• Example Label: Admin_Wizards_Articles_FirstTimeSetupBtn_Title - The label for the title of the button that links to the article on setting up sFiles for the first time (pictured below).

C. OrgSettings - Any labels on the page when the "Org Settings" navigation item is selected.

• Example Label: Admin_OrgSettings_OpenSpSettingsBtn_Title - The label for the button that links to the custom metadata settings for the SharePoint settings.

D. ObjectSettings - Any labels on the page when the "Object Settings" navigation item is selected.

• Example Label: Admin_ObjectSettings_EditSettingsBtn_AltText - The alternative text for the button that links to the custom metadata settings for the selected object. This label will appear when a user hovers over the edit button.

E. License - Any labels on the page when the "License" navigation item is selected.

• Example Label: Admin_License_Company - The label for the company line item where the company's name is displayed next to it.

F. IDSearchUtility - Any labels on the page when the "ID Search Utility" navigation item is selected.

• Example Label: Admin_IDSearchUtility_ByPathTab_FolderPath - The label for the folder path input in the "Search by Path" tab.

G. CustomColumnUtility - Any labels on the page when the "Custom Column Utility" navigation item is selected.

• Example Label: Admin_CustomColumnUtility_Site - The label for the site selector input.

H. Navigation - Labels for the navigation items on the left side of the wizard.

• Example Label: Admin_Navigation_Tools_CustomColumnUtility - The label for the "Custom Column Utility" navigation item.

I. Modal (not pictured) - Any labels that appear in any admin panel modal. For example, modals appear when a user starts the object setup wizard.

• Example Label: Admin_Modal_PrimaryBtn_Next - this label will appear at the bottom of the modal on the button that forwards the modal to the next page.

I. Lookup (not pictured) - Labels that connected to an input that searches for a value such as a site or document library.

• Example Label: Admin_Lookup_NoResults - this label will appear when the keyword searched does not match any of the items in the search.

J. LoadingStatus (not pictured) - Any labels that appear when the admin panel is loading content.

• Example Label: Admin_LoadingStatus_LoadingObjectMetadata - this label will appear in the object setup wizard modal when the object metadata is being loaded.

K. CONSOLE (not pictured) - Any labels that appear in the web browser console.

• Example Label: Admin_CONSOLE_Success - this label appears when an operation is successful in the admin panel.

K. SETUError (not pictured) - Any labels that appear in an error in the sFiles admin panel.

• Example Label: Admin_SETUError_NoUrl - this label appears in an alert when the search by path utility has been initiated without providing a URL.

 

Messages

"Messages" include any errors, warnings or messages that are displayed to the user in a toast notification as a result of a successful or failed sFiles operation.

API (sFiles Client API Messages)

"API" messages are messages that are sent via code to a user who is using the sFiles API as a result of a successful or failed sFiles operation.
