Description

Admins often need to quickly look up ids for either the SharePoint Site, Document Library or an individual folder. This updated feature allows an admin to simply copy and paste a URL location from a SharePoint document library web location to the utility.

Procedure

In a web browser, navigate to any location within your company's SharePoint document libraries. This requires that you are in a Document Library. It will not extract the ids if you only browse to a SharePoint site or subsite.
Highlight the entire url in your browser's address bar and copy it.
In the Setup Utility, navigate to the ID Search Utility, Using the Id Search Utility And select the "Search by path" tab.
Paste the path into the "Folder path" field and click "Find Folder"
You can use the Ids to copy in paste in either SharePoint Object Settings records or on individual Salesforce records, depending on your configuration. More information can be found Using the Id Search Utility
