This outlines a very simple way to subscribe to the platform event.  When the trigger fires, the file metadata is accessed and sent to a method of your choice.

This references the SharepointFileInfo class which is described here.

Trigger Code

Create a trigger for the File_Uploaded_Community__e platform event.  The trigger or class behind should execute the following code where newList is the list of event objects from the trigger:

File_Uploaded_Community__e Event Description 

Field	Description
Custom_Fields_Info__c	JSON serialized custom field data.  This reflects the field values that were set at the time of creation. Can be deserialized as Map<String,String> which will  reflect FieldName, Value respectively.
Document_Library__c	The Document Library Id associated with the new record.
Event_Content__c	JSON serialized file metadata.  This reflects the values returned from the SharePoint server upon upload complete.  Can be deserialized as fileforcem1.SharepointFileInfo
File_Id__c	The SharePoint Id of the created file.
File_Name__c	The name of the created file.
Named_Credential__c	The named credential used to upload the file.
Record_Id__c	The record Id to which the uploaded file was associated.
Site__c	The SharePoint site Id of the created file.
User_Id__c	The user that requested the file upload.
