Steps:

1. In Salesforce Setup, go to Named Credentials and click New > New Legacy.
2. Set the fields as follows:
   • Label: [Whatever you like]
   • URL: https://graph.microsoft.com
   • Identity Type: Named Principal
   • Authentication Protocol: OAuth 2.0
   • Authentication Provider: sFilesProvider
   • Start Authentication Flow on Save: Checked
3. Click Save and you may be directed to log in to Azure Active Directory. IMPORTANT: We recommend you log into Microsoft 365 using an account that has the appropriate privilege to do this. This user must have the right amount of access to the right amount of sites / document libraries. This is especially true in an Experience Cloud context. If you use Named Principal authentication, all interactions from sFiles into SharePoint will be logged as that user.
4. Now it is time to configure sFiles to use the named credential. If making this change globally, go to the SharePoint Settings Custom Metadata type and click Manage Records. Now, click Edit next to the Default entry. If you have the Enterprise license and want to use Named Principal on a specific object in Salesforce only, go to the SharePoint Object Settings Metadata type, click Manage Records and edit the entry for the object, e.g., Account. Use the Object Settings for setting up Named Principal for Experience Cloud objects.
5. Set the Named Credential Name to the name you set in step 2.

sFiles is set up for Named Principal. sFiles will use a single account to access SharePoint.
