Give your internal users the ability to create one or multiple links to a file or folder from within the sFiles component.

Prerequisites

  1. sFiles version summer '24 (v1.51) or later installed.
    1. Visit sFiles on the AppExchange and click "Get it Now" to update to the latest version.
  2. The CreatePublicLink Feature Permission is enabled in the related SharePoint Object Settings.

About

This feature allows users to create shareable links for files and folders in the sFiles component. Follow the steps below to share files and folders.

Steps

  1. Click the "Share" button in the sFiles Component's Header.

  2. Select all files and folders that you would like to create a link to share and click Create Link or Create Links in the sFiles Header.

  3. Select the type of link you would like to create. The options presented to the user can be configured in the Sharing Settings field described in our article, Link Sharing Settings.

  4. Copy each file link and share as needed.
