Using the Custom Column Utility

Certain operations in sFiles require retrieving the API name of a SharePoint column. You can do this using the Custom Column Utility in the sFiles Admin Panel. Refer to the article below for step-by-step instructions on using this tool.

Steps

1. Navigate to the Custom Column Utility in the sFiles Admin panel

  1. In Salesforce's Setup, in the Quick Find box, type Installed Packages and navigate to Installed Packages.
  2. Click the Configure link next to sFiles in the Installed Packages list view.sfilesconfigurelink.png 
  3. Click Custom Column Utility on the left navigation panel.

2. Select the Site and Document Library to list the columns available

  1. Each Document Library has its own set of SharePoint columns. Select the SharePoint site and Document Library for the column you are searching for.

3. Identify the API name of your SharePoint column

  1. You will see a list of all the SharePoint columns and their technical names.
