Prerequisites

1. You must be a Salesforce administrator.
2. sFiles must be setup with SharePoint.
3. You have already created custom fields (columns) in SharePoint.
4. Your sFiles version is 1.9 or newer.

Steps

1. Navigate to the record where sFiles browser is embedded. Click the 
    gear icon on the top-right and click Edit Page.

       
2. Select the sFiles component on the page layout and look for the 
    Display Columns input area.

3. In the field, enter the SharePoint columns in the following format:
    a comma separated list of each column, which will have the following.
    values separated by a comma:

1. Label - The column label that will display in sFiles
2. Technical Name - The column's SharePoint API Name

    Your Column Label:SharePointFieldName,Another
  Column Label:AnotherField

  Your Column Label can be anything you would like to display in
    sFiles. The SharePointFieldName should be the exact technical
    name. If your SharePoint field contains special characters or spaces
    they are encoded using a special SharePoint format (e.g., spaces 
    under certain conditions become _x0i020_).
 

LOOKUP COLUMNS: If your column is a lookup column, the format will be slightly different. Lookup columns will need to include the following values all separated by a colon:

1. Label - The column label that will display in sFiles
2. Technical Name - The column's SharePoint API Name
3. List Name - The name of the list in SharePoint
4. List Column - The column of the list

    Your Column Label:SharePointFieldName:Your List:Title
    
    Special characters for lookup columns are not yet supported at this time.
    
HYPERLINK COLUMNS (NEW on v.1.51): If your column is a hyperlink column, the notation will include the following values all separated by a colon:

1. Label - The column label that will display in sFiles
2. Technical Name - The column's SharePoint API Name
3. Hyperlink Column Identifier - 'url'

    Your Column Label:SharePointFieldName:url

CALCULATED COLUMNS: These types of columns cannot be displayed using this functionality as of now.

    *Read the instructions below on how to find the SharePoint field's technical name.

4. This example image shows two SharePoint columns: Size and CreatedBy. 
    In the example the label for CreatedBy is Owner.
    

5. Click Save.

*In order to find your SharePoint field's technical name you can use our
 SharePoint field tool. The tool is located in Setup under Installed
 Packages > sFiles > Configure. Select the option Custom Field Utility
 in the setup tool and you will see the names of the custom fields in the
 main SharePoint document library.

Default Sorting

To default sort folders and files by one of these columns, simply append one of the following to the end of a column notation:
