Get Item By URL Flow Action

With the release of sFiles Spring '25, sFiles offers a flow action, "Get SharePoint Item By URL" that retrieves the information for a SharePoint item by its URL.

Prerequisites

sFiles Enterprise license
sFiles version 1.56 or later installed.
- Visit sFiles on the AppExchange and click "Get it Now" to update to the latest version.
You have followed sFiles setup guide to setup an object with sFiles (Brand new sFiles setup).

Steps to Configure

Add a Get SharePoint Item By URL action to your flow.
Set action input variables. * = Required

Input Variables

See the below table for descriptions of each parameter.

Name	Description
SharePoint URL*	The URL of the SharePoint item. Ex. https://yoursite.sharepoint.com/sites/yourSite/Shared%20Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx?RootFolder=%2Fsites%2FyourSite%2FShared%20Documents%2FAccounts%2FBurlington%20Textiles%20Corp%20of%20America&FolderCTID=0x01200000DE969EFDB44E4AA3DECBD9AD27C498

Output Variables

When the action successfully runs, it will return an Apex-Defined variable of the fileforcem1__FlowActionPayload class. See below for explanations of the available properties on this output class:

Error	A string of any errors that occurred during the action.
Success	A boolean that returns true if the action succeeds and false if it does not.
Item	A fileforcem1__SharePointItemData Apex-defined variable of the SharePoint item found.
DocumentLibrary	A fileforcem1__SharePointItemData Apex-defined variable of the SharePoint Document Library related to the item found.
Site	A fileforcem1__SharePointItemData Apex-defined variable of the SharePoint Site related to the item found.
ItemId	The Id of the item found. Ex. 01SIBYFVMOSQJWJMVZWVHLVHV2L42IUS5F
DocumentLibraryId	The Id of the SharePoint Document Library related to the item found. Ex. b!7Mv_WK8JZPql5x2TpN6HTkC3OLrkYAn9QswoTrboxAa3iGhu1wR9oT10dOV
