The Internal Event provides the capability for admins to execute code that should occur after a public link is created for a file or folder in the internal sFiles component (shown below).


After a public link is created from the internal sFiles component, the component will fire an Internal_Event__e platform event of type "GenerateLink".

Prerequisites

1. sFiles version 1.50.1 or later installed.
   1. Visit sFiles on the AppExchange and click "Get it Now" to update to the latest version.

Trigger Code 

Create a trigger for the Internal_Event__e platform event. The following example shows a trigger when a public link is created:

Fields on the GenerateLink Internal_Event__e Event 

FIELD	DESCRIPTION
User_Id__c	The Salesforce User Id that caused the event.
Type__c	"GenerateLink"
Site__c	The SharePoint site Id associated with the action.
Document_Library__c	The SharePoint document library associated with the action.
Record_Id__c	The Salesforce record associated with the action.
Item_Name__c	The name of the associated SharePoint file.
Item_Id__c	The SharePoint Id of the associated file.
Event_Content__c	JSON serialized file metadata that can be deserialized as fileforcem1.GeneratedLinkItem
