Extracting a CSV listing of Ids for a SharePoint folder

Admins often need to data-load existing SharePoint folder ids into Salesforce. This utility allows admins to download a CSV listing of the items in a folder along with the SharePoint Id for loading into Salesforce records.

Procedure

  1. Determine a SharePoint folder that you want to get the contents of and then follow the procedure outlined in Id Search Utility: Searching by path
  2. Click on the "Extract Folder Listing" button
  3. Add any additional SharePoint custom columns that you want in the file in a comma separated list.  (this could be a previous account id such as DynamicsId)  The Id, Name and WebUrl columns will be extracted automatically.image.png
  4. Click "Extract". A csv file will be downloaded to your computer
  5. When you open the CSV, you will see the Id field corresponds to the SharePoint Id used by sFiles.  You can use other fields to prepare the csv for import into your Salesforce instanceimage.png
