The Internal Event provides the capability for admins to execute code that should occur after files are emailed from the internal sFiles component (shown below).


After files are emailed from the internal sFiles component, the component will fire an Internal_Event__e platform event of type "Email".

NOTE: This platform event will only fire when files are sent as attachments, not links (using the "Email Attachment(s)" button).

Prerequisites

1. sFiles version 1.50.1 or later installed.
   1. Visit sFiles on the AppExchange and click "Get it Now" to update to the latest version.

Trigger Code 

Create a trigger for the Internal_Event__e platform event. The following example shows a trigger when an email event occurs:

Fields on the Email Internal_Event__e Event 

FIELD	DESCRIPTION
User_Id__c	The Salesforce User Id that caused the event.
Type__c	"Email"
Site__c	The SharePoint site Id associated with the action.
Document_Library__c	The SharePoint document library associated with the action.
Record_Id__c	The Salesforce record associated with the action.
Item_Name__c	This field is not used for the Email Internal_Event_e Event. For names of files attached to the email, see the Event_Content__c field.
Item_Id__c	This field is not used for the Email Internal_Event_e Event. For SharePoint Ids of files attached to the email, see the Event_Content__c field.
Event_Content__c	JSON serialized file metadata that can be deserialized as fileforcem1.EmailEventResponse
