With the release of sFiles Spring '25, sFiles offers a flow action, "Create SharePoint URL File" that will create a URL file for a SharePoint item.

Prerequisites

sFiles Enterprise license
sFiles version 1.56 or later installed.
- Visit sFiles on the AppExchange and click "Get it Now" to update to the latest version.
You have followed sFiles setup guide to setup an object with sFiles (Brand new sFiles setup).

Steps to Configure

Add a Create SharePoint URL File action to your flow.
Set action input variables. * = Required
1. Required values to create a URL File for a SharePoint item
2. Required values to create a URL File for a custom URL

Input Variables

See the below table for descriptions of each parameter.

Name	Description
Destination Folder Id*	The Id of the SharePoint folder where the URL file will be created. Ex. 01XLRJ892KEMNVY7T4ZQPHALM77REZWBFA
Object Setting Label*	The label of the SharePoint Object Setting Custom Metadata used to complete the action. To find the label of your SharePoint Object Setting, go to Salesforce Setup > Custom Metadata Types > click "Manage Records" next to SharePoint Object Settings > Use the value in the "Label" column for your SharePoint Object Setting. Ex. Account
Custom URL	(Optional) The custom url to create a URL file for. NOTE: To create a URL file for a custom url, you must also specify a Url File Name Ex. https://www.intergalacticwaffles.com/launchpad/flavor-blast?utm_source=millenniumfalcon&ref=chewbacca-approved
Document Library Id Override	The Id of the SharePoint Document Library where the item for which you want to create a URL file is located. This will override the Document Library Id in the SharePoint Object Setting. Ex. b!a3D9jXp9LuUteRm9yFg7TP00BcAoF2yzLpMIUvH9WcLQFx9OmR-yzQ4_kZq6LpmXK
SharePoint Id	(Optional) The SharePoint Id of the file/folder to create a URL file for. If not specified, the flow action will assume you are creating a URL file for a custom URL. Ex. 01XLRJ892KEMNVY7T4ZQPHALM77REZWBFA
Site Id Override	The Id of the SharePoint Site where the item for which you want to create a URL file is located. This will override the Site Id in the SharePoint Object Setting. Ex. oscorp.sharepoint.com,5e3c4f21-8abc-4fd2-b197-9f57d203e7a1,bc12de34-45f7-4989-a654-88329ff4ab93
Url File Name	(Optional) Name of the newly created URL file. When a SharePoint Id is specified, defaults to the name of the SharePoint item. NOTE: This is required for custom URLs. Ex. Inter-Galactic Waffles

Output Variables

When the rename action successfully runs, it will return an Apex-Defined variable of the fileforcem1__FlowActionPayload class. See below for explanations of the available properties on this output class:

A string of any errors that occurred during the action.

Item

A fileforcem1__SharePointItemData Apex-defined variable of the SharePoint item related to the action.

ByteSize	The size of the file in bytes. Ex. 76203
Format	The extension of the file. Ex. docx
Id	The SharePoint Id of the file after it has been uploaded. Ex. 01SIBYFVMOSQJWJMVZWVHLVHV2L42IUS5F
Key	The index of the file in the array of files being uploaded. Ex. 0
LastModified	Date/Time the file was uploaded. Ex. 2024-03-28T17:59:38Z
ModifiedBy	SharePoint user who uploaded the file. Ex. James Harrison
Name	The name of the file (String). Ex. My Test File.docx
NameWithoutExt	The name of the file without the extension. Ex. My Test File
OpenUrl	The URL to open the file in SharePoint.
Size	The size of the file formatted. Ex. 74.4 KB

Success

A boolean that returns true if the action succeeds and false if it does not.
