Overview

sFiles Enterprise enables linking a single object to multiple SharePoint sites and document libraries. Here's a scenario where this could be useful:

Acme Corporation has two Record Types for their Account object: Vendor and Supplier. Acme would like the vendor accounts to point to the Vendor's SharePoint site and the supplier accounts to look for folders in the Supplier's SharePoint site. Situations like this can be accomplished using the method described in this article.

Prerequisites

1. sFiles is set up in your organization.
2. You have the sFiles Enterprise license.

Steps

1. On the object where you would like to display multiple document libraries and multiple SharePoint sites create three new fields to house the appropriate Ids. The following fields can be text fields (that hold either static information or populated with code or Process Builder) or formula fields that output Ids based on certain criteria. 
   • Site Id
   • Document Library Id
   • Root Folder Id
2. Once you have built these fields you will need to specify the field names in sFiles Browser Enterprise component in the Lightning page layout.
3. Navigate to the object's page layout App Builder in one of the following ways: 

• by going to the Salesforce Object Setup page
• by navigating to your object's record, clicking the gear icon on the top right, and clicking Edit Page. 

  4. Under each text box, on the right hand side, input the field's technical
      name (e.g., Site_ID__c).

      
  5. Now, in order to get the specific Ids for the SharePoint Site, Document
      Library, and Root Folder we will use the ID Search Utility built into sFiles.

• Under Saleforce's Setup navigate to Installed Packages. 
• Locate the sFiles package and click the Configure link next to the package. 
• A pop-up window with the admin screen will open. In the navigation bar to the left select ID Search Utility. 
• Select the desired SharePoint Site, Document Library, and Root Folder. The Ids should appear beneath each dropdown. These are the Ids you can specify in the fields you created above.
