This article will show you how to install sFiles into your Salesforce Org from the AppExchange and how to configure sFiles using our guided setup wizard.

Prerequisites

Be a Salesforce administrator in your org.
Have custom domain enabled in your Salesforce org. (How to Enable Custom Domain in Salesforce)
Have permissions to create App registrations in your Azure Active Directory or be in contact with an Azure AD admin with those permissions.

Install sFiles from the AppExchange

Navigate to the sFiles AppExchange listing and click Get It Now.
On the installation screen, select Install for Admins Only.
Once installation completes you will receive an email.

Authorize the sFiles Admin Panel

Before you can use the Setup Wizard located in the sFiles Admin Panel, you must ensure your user is authorized to use the sFiles Admin Panel.

For sFiles version 1.63 and later, a simple button is provided in the Admin Panel itself to grant access to your user. For version 1.62 and earlier, please follow Authorizing the Admin Panel.

Navigate to the sFiles Admin Panel

Navigate to Installed Packages in Salesforce Setup.
Click the Configure link next to the sFiles package.
A window will open to display the Admin Panel, which includes the sFiles Setup Wizard along with other utilities.

Complete the First-Time Setup Wizard

Click sFiles first-time set up wizard to get started and follow the steps to finish setting up the integration.

The wizard will automatically move on to the “Object Setup Wizard” after finishing the first-time setup. If you encounter issues during installation or setup, please contact the email address included in the welcome email.

The Setup Wizard uses Per User as the default authentication. If you prefer to set up your org to use a Named Principle please complete setup with the default (Per User) authentication first, then follow instructions in How to configure sFiles to use Named Principal authentication.

NOTE: If you opt to handle permissions using sFiles permission sets, you will need to manually assign these permission sets to users or permission set groups after setup is complete.

Add sFiles to a Record Page

Once sFiles is set up and configured with an object, you can add the sFiles component to your record page.

Navigate to a record for your configured object (e.g., an Opportunity record), click the gear icon on the top right, then click Edit Page.
Drag and drop the sFiles Standard or Enterprise component onto the page and click Save.
